Recap:
‘Naruto, Sasuke…STOP IT! I got a text form Ino and she said:
Shika, I love you too! Choji is here…if that helps but I don’t know where though it maybe somewhere close…Neji has the Byakugan, right? Sakura is with me, and please hurry Love you Ino
‘So in the letter we don’t know where she is, and Choji is with her; at least we know she’s safe, I’ll explain later, but Neji you do have the Byakugan right? So just use that and we’ll be able to fine the girls’ Shikamaru stated and everything would be better, he would have Ino and the others would have their girls as well.

Neji was nervous, if he said no, they would want to know why, and if he said yes, what would become of Tenten? This was a real predicament, say no and hope they understand or tell them yes and spill the beans about the phone and why he did had he had to.
‘I, I need to talk to you guys’ He started the longest and hardest story of his life.

Neji was finished with his tale and it hurt him to tell it, and his friends to listen.

Shikamaru was piecing together what has happened so far: 1) only the girls were getting taken, 2) They must know the girls or themselves, 3) Neji was being blackmailed with Tenten’s phone, 4) girls were fine, but Tenten wasn’t with them. ‘Neji, you won’t use your Byakugan because they’ll know if you used it?’ Neji only nodded with his head looking at the floor.

Flashback

Hinata and Naruto were the last to arrive and of course Sasuke had something to say ‘way to go dobe, were always waiting on you’ he said even less emotion in his voice. ‘Teme, can you just shut it for 10 freaking minutes’ Naruto said getting aggravated. ‘Yeah if you can go without ramen for 10 minutes’ at that comment Naruto lost it ‘At least I still have my girlfriend, at lease I can protect her!’ The whole room fell silent and Sasuke said something incoherent and looked down at the floor. “I’m sorry Sakura” Sasuke thought to himself.

End Flashback

“The dobe’s right, I can’t even protect Sakura and I haven’t done anything to help her. All I did was sulk, well no more!” he promised himself, and Sakura.

Sasuke become more attentive then before and Neji was still looking at the floor, but thinking about Tenten.

Shikamaru was walking back and forth trying to figure this out, so he ran through many possibilities until ‘Ugh!’ he said with a sigh and sat down.

Naruto finally said something ‘What if we call them with Tenten’s phone? And try to trace the call or at least, back track it and find out where it came from?’ They all looked at him, and blinked and still stared.

‘What Are You Staring At?’ Naruto said aggravated but Hinata smiled and grabbed his hand in a reassuring manner, ‘That’s a really good idea Naruto’ Naruto smiled.

‘Yeah dobe I’m surprised the idea came from your mouth’ Sasuke said, Neji and Shika both smirked.

Naruto was going to fight back but then Shika got a text message. ‘It’s from Ino…’ he scanned the screen for a few minutes, his eyes widened and cursed silently.

Tenten was still in Lee’s room but he had taken the blindfold off of her so now she got a good look around the room; it was dark green and that’s it just green.

She missed Neji very much, and couldn’t figure out a way to get in touch with him. He didn’t have any phone and had a few sky lights but other than that his room was empty. “I wonder how everyone is doing?” she thought, she got up and lay on his bed and her head hit the pillow, it was…uncomfortable.

‘What’s that?’ she said aloud and reached under the pillow to find Lee’s phone. “Predictable Lee” she thought. She wanted to text everybody but she didn’t know how long Lee would be gone so she went ahead and texted Neji.

Neji, it’s Tenten on Lee’s phone, please don’t ask any questions but I miss you very much, and I can’t help but tell you that I left a trail here. Can’t explain but tell the others and come soon

She sent the message, and placed the phone back where it was and then started humming a tune she learned awhile back.

Minutes later Lee came in the room with a sour look on his face.

‘Lee, what’s happened, and why do you have a sour look on your face?’ Tenten asked, he said nothing but grabbed her wrist and pulled her to him and hugged her. Tenten couldn’t think but pushed him off before it got too far.

Lee looked down but pulled her out the door and led her to the two wooden doors and opened them, Tenten walked through and was astounded by the beauty of the room and her friends were there; which made it even better!

Tenten ran in and reunited with her friends, ‘Goodbye, Tenten’ Lee said and silently crept out of the room and shut the doors behind him.

Hinata who has been quite all this time, decided to speak up ‘S-shikamaru, what d-did Ino s-say?’ everyone looked at Hinata, and she blushed but just nodded and they all looked towards Shikamaru. Shikamaru gave his phone over to sasuke and started to leave but Hinata stopped him by hugging him.

‘You don’t have to do everything by yourself, were your friends…we want to help’ Hinata said very quietly. Shikamaru looked at her and gave her a kiss on the cheek and nodded.

‘S-sasuke wha-what does the me-message say?’ Hinata asked. Sasuke read the message aloud.

Dear Shika,
Tenten joined us, and now were all here, we got a letter from Choji a little while ago and he said that since we could be in danger that he’s getting us out tonight he told us to meet at the park; where u used to go with Choji all the time too…someone’s coming don’t text back until I do ok?

Silence was all that was heard for the rest of the night, for two reasons; the first being that something could happen to the girls and that one fatal beep of Shikamaru’s phone.

Tenten, Sakura and Ino all waited for the footsteps to approach the door, or keep on walking but instead they stopped and the girls could hear mumbling so Ino decided to put her ear towards the door.

‘Choji, I don’t know how you did it but three out of the four, great work! You even got that one girls name to believe you…what was it, Eno, Gino, huh? Oh Ino…yeah that was it.’ He chuckled and started to walk away.

Ino solely slid down the door and sobbed. Sakura was the first to ask ‘Ino, are you sure your ok?’ Ino didn’t answer, just silently sobbed until everything went dark.

‘Tenten, Ino seems to have fallen asleep could you get her cell from the table and text the guys?’ Sakura asked. Tenten quickly grabbed the phone and texted Shikamaru.


Shikamaru,
This is tenten, Ino has fallen asleep because she heard some news but she didn’t get to tell us what. I don’t know if Choji is still coming for us tonight, because Ino was crying before she cried herself to sleep, it really hurt her.

She sent the message and quickly, then gave the phone to Sakura. She prayed for her friends and that Hinata doesn’t get involved.

Choji didn’t know what to do, he wanted to help Ino, and her friends but everyone keep congratulated him and he didn’t know why.

He was going to give the girls there food when again he heard the boss talking.

‘Lee, I want you to get to Tenten and take her to your room tonight and tell Shino to do the same with Sakura.’ ‘but sir, what about Ino?’ asked Lee. Ino will be left there, if the girls are together too long, they might be smart enough to figure something out’ said the leader.

‘No!’ screamed Choji at the top of his lungs, he couldn’t have them separate them tonight not if he was planning something. The boss and Lee looked at him.

‘Choji, what is the meaning of this?’ the leader asked shocked. ‘Well, you see sir…’ “I’m in some major stuff, if I can’t explain my outburst”  ‘well, you see sir…I was just passing by and I overheard, you can’t separate them tonight…let them get reunited with their friend first, they think everything isn’t so bad they start to lower their guard…’ he trailed off not knowing whether he was making things worse for the girls.

‘…Excellent, Choji! That is why you are my first in-command.’  Choji thanked the heavens, he didn’t make things worse. ‘I still want them to be watched, though Lee-’ I cut him off mid-sentence. ‘NO, I mean no, like you said I’m your first in-command, I’ll do it’

The boss eyed Choji, slowly but agreed.

Choji left to continue bringing the girls they’re lunch. The boss dismissed Lee, and he smiled ‘Choji, what are you thinking?’
