They were two people: A woman and a man and they were from different countries. The man was from Kohona and the woman was from Suna.

The two met on a mission together, and they both fell in love instantly, but there was a problem the two were going in opposite directions…

‘Temari, were leaving where the hell are you?’ Gaara said, as he was in no mood to stay any longer. ‘I’m sorry, but I have to go’ Temari said disappointed and really wanted to stay. ‘Troublesome brother you have, huh?’ Shikamaru asked.

‘Maybe I’ll see you later?’ Temari said more hoping than asking. ‘Yeah’ Shikamaru said as he gave her a chaste kiss on the lips. After the kiss Gaara was now fuming ‘Temari get out here now, before I have to use my sand!!!’ Gaara screamed.

‘Bye!’ Temari yelled before jumping out from behind the bush. ‘Gaara, I’m right here there’s no need to shout’ Temari said calmly. Shikamaru sat there as he heard the girl of his dreams walk away…

“I hope I will see Temari again, and when I do I will make her mine” he thought, but then shrugged it off and walked back to Kohona and start his plan…

3 years later…

Shikamaru was walking down the streets where the sun was shinning and when we looked at the person next to him, well she was the most beautiful thing that he had ever seen…

The girl he is referring to was indeed…Temari. They got married a year ago and then moved in after the wedding. They are both really excited, and in a month they will be parents.

‘I’m so glad you moved her, and for marring me’ Temari said smiling. Shikamaru just smiled a small smile, the ones that only he can give her. Temari abruptly stopped and looked at Shikamaru and had a grin on her face ‘the baby kicked’ Temari said, as she grabbed Shikamaru’s hand and put it on her belly and he smiled back at her ‘thanks’ he said as he kissed her.
Later that Night…

Temari woke up with a sharp pain and grabbed Shikamaru’s hand ‘Shikamaru…I….think…I’m..going…into…labor’ Temari said taking breaths in between her words. Shikamaru sat up quickly and grabbed Temari’s birth bag, then helped his wife off the bed and then went to the hospital.

They got to the hospital and Shikamaru sat Temari down in a wheelchair and took her over to the counter ‘Help, uh my wife is in pregnant, and she’s in labor and’ Shikamaru said nervously trying to calm down his wife.

‘So I see we have some new parents?’ The nurse giggled as she took Temari’s wheelchair and wheeled her down the hall into a room.

‘Here we are, I let you two get settled, the blankets and the robes are in the closet and the doctor will be with you in a few minutes’ the nurse said then left. “Wow she was extremely perky” Shikamaru thought as he helped his wife into the bathroom to change.

The doctor came in just as Temari came out of the bathroom, but she was in extreme pain. ‘Would you like some medication to ease the pain?’ the doctor asked as he pulled in a tray of syringes filled with medication. Temari sat on the bed, and waited till the doctor put the syringe in her back.

The medication helped with the pain. ‘Thank you’ Temari said and slowly drifted into sleep.

An hour later Temari woke up, and she asked ‘Shikamaru could…you go get…the doctor?’ when she finished she screamed and Shikamaru ran out of there. ‘Doctor! Doctor! My wife needs help’ Shikamaru was screaming and running around until he found the doctor, and ran back to the room.

Temari calmed down, but was still breathing heavily. ‘Temari, are you ok?’ Shikamaru screamed and ran towards her, grabbing her hand. ‘Let me check to see how far along you are’ the doctor said.

‘Well it looks like you can start pushing now’ the doctor said, he left and got a nurse and help Temari get ready. Temari was pushing and screaming until their baby was born…

Temari was grateful and was very tired; before she fell asleep she heard ‘It’s a boy’ and was taken by sleep.

When Temari woke up, she saw Shikamaru holding their boy. ‘Hey there sleepyhead, you want to hold him?’ Shikamaru asked his wife who smiled at him. He gave her their baby ‘he’s so cute’ Temari said as she looked at his face. ‘We need to think of a name, we can’t keep calling him “baby boy”’ Temari said. ‘I think I have the perfect name for him’ Shikamaru said. ‘What?’ Temari said still looking at her baby boy. ‘Satoshi’ Shikamaru said.

‘Satoshi? What does that mean I’ve never herd that name before, what does it mean?’ Temari asked her gaze not leaving her sight.

‘It means wise’ Shikamaru said as he kissed her and sat next to her on the bed. ‘I love you’ Shikamaru said. ‘I love you, too’ Temari said.

They both sat in bed and watched the sunset, while the nurse came in to check on the baby.
